Zoho CRM Integration
Connect SalesPartner to Zoho CRM to log notes on your contact records automatically. Keep your CRM updated after every conversation.
Why Connect Zoho CRM?
If your team manages leads and contacts in Zoho CRM, this keeps your records current without the manual work.
When SalesPartner talks to a lead, it logs a note directly on the matching Zoho CRM contact record. Your team sees the full conversation history without leaving the CRM.
What you get:
- No manual entry — Notes appear in Zoho CRM after every interaction
- Full history — Messages, appointments, and status changes all logged
- Team visibility — Everyone sees the latest activity on each contact
- Works with what you have — No new tools required
This works best if you're on Zoho CRM Standard or a higher plan and already manage contacts there.
Connecting Your Zoho CRM Account
Zoho uses a secure account connection — no manual API keys to copy and paste.
- Open the SalesPartner app
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find the Zoho CRM section
- Toggle the switch to Enable
- Click Connect Zoho CRM
- You'll be redirected to the Zoho login page
- Sign in with your Zoho account
- Review the permissions and click Accept
- You'll be sent back to SalesPartner — your account is now connected
SalesPartner never sees your Zoho password. The connection uses Zoho's secure OAuth system.
Note: API access is available on Zoho CRM Standard and above. Free accounts have very limited API access and may not work reliably for ongoing integrations.
Data Center / Region
Zoho has separate data centers for different regions. Your Zoho account is hosted in one of them:
- zoho.com — United States (default)
- zoho.eu — European Union
- zoho.in — India
- zoho.com.au — Australia
- zoho.jp — Japan
When connecting, make sure you sign in through the correct Zoho regional site. If you're based in the EU and use zoho.eu, sign in there — not zoho.com.
If your connection fails right after signing in, this is the most common reason. Contact support and let us know which Zoho region your account is on.
What Gets Logged
SalesPartner adds a note to the contact's Zoho CRM record when:
- A lead sends a message
- SalesPartner replies to a lead
- An appointment is booked or a reminder is sent
- A contact's status changes
Each note is timestamped and includes the relevant details.
Note: The contact must already exist in Zoho CRM, matched by email address. If SalesPartner can't find a matching contact, the note won't log. Make sure leads are added to Zoho before conversations start.
Troubleshooting
Notes not appearing in Zoho CRM?
- Integration enabled? — Go to Settings → Integrations and confirm the toggle is on.
- Wrong region? — If you're on zoho.eu, zoho.in, or another regional site, make sure you connected using that region's login. See the Data Center section above.
- Contact exists? — SalesPartner matches contacts by email. If the lead's email isn't in Zoho, nothing logs.
- Free plan? — Free Zoho CRM accounts have tight API limits. Upgrade to Standard for reliable integration.
- Connection expired? — Disconnect and reconnect in Settings → Integrations to refresh.
Still stuck? Contact support with your Zoho CRM account email and the time you expected a note. We can check the logs.
