Capsule CRM Integration

Connect SalesPartner to Capsule CRM to log activity on your contact records automatically. Keep your CRM current after every conversation.

Why Connect Capsule CRM?

If your team manages relationships in Capsule, this keeps your contact records updated without manual work.

When SalesPartner talks to a lead, it logs an activity entry directly on the matching Capsule contact record. Your team sees the full conversation history without leaving Capsule.

This requires a paid Capsule plan (Starter or above).

Getting Your API Token

Capsule uses personal API tokens. Here's how to create one:

  1. Log in to Capsule CRM
  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner
  3. Select My Preferences
  4. Scroll down to the API Authentication Tokens section
  5. Click Create New Token
  6. Copy the token immediately — after leaving this page, you'll only see a truncated version

Important: This token is personal to your Capsule account. Keep it private. If you lose it, create a new one from the same place.

Setting Up the Integration

Once you have your API token:

  1. Open the SalesPartner app
  2. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  3. Find the Capsule CRM section
  4. Toggle the switch to Enable
  5. Paste your API token in the field
  6. Click Test Connection

If the test succeeds, you'll see your Capsule account name. You're connected.

From this point, SalesPartner will log activity on your Capsule contacts automatically.

What Gets Logged

SalesPartner adds an activity entry to the contact's Capsule record when:

  • A lead sends a message
  • SalesPartner replies to a lead
  • An appointment is booked or a reminder is sent
  • A contact's status changes

Each entry is timestamped and includes the relevant details.

Note: The contact must already exist in Capsule, matched by email address. If SalesPartner can't find a matching contact, the activity won't log. Make sure leads are in Capsule before conversations start.

Troubleshooting

Activity not appearing in Capsule?

  1. Integration enabled? — Go to Settings → Integrations and confirm the toggle is on.
  1. Token valid? — If the token was created and then lost without being saved, it won't work. Create a new one in My Preferences → API Authentication Tokens.
  1. Contact exists? — SalesPartner matches contacts by email. If the lead's email isn't in Capsule, nothing logs.
  1. On a paid plan? — API access requires Capsule Starter or above. The free plan doesn't include API access.
