Pipedrive Integration

Connect SalesPartner to Pipedrive to log lead activity directly on your contact records. Keep your pipeline current without manual entry.

Why Connect Pipedrive?

If you manage your sales pipeline in Pipedrive, this keeps it updated without the manual work.

When SalesPartner talks to a lead, it logs a note directly on the matching Pipedrive person record. Your team sees what happened without leaving the CRM.

This works best if you already track contacts as persons in Pipedrive.

Getting Your API Token

Every Pipedrive user has a personal API token. Here's how to find yours:

  1. Log in to Pipedrive
  2. Click your profile avatar or account name in the top-right corner
  3. Select Personal preferences from the dropdown
  4. Click the API tab
  5. Copy your personal API token

Important: This token acts as you — it has the same access as your Pipedrive user account. Keep it private and never share it.

If you don't see the API tab, your account's permission set may not include API access. Ask your Pipedrive admin to enable it for your user.

Setting Up the Integration

Once you have your API token:

  1. Open the SalesPartner app
  2. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  3. Find the Pipedrive section
  4. Toggle the switch to Enable
  5. Paste your API token in the field
  6. Click Test Connection

If the test succeeds, you'll see your Pipedrive account name. You're connected.

From this point, SalesPartner will log notes on your Pipedrive persons automatically.

What Gets Logged

SalesPartner adds a note to the person's Pipedrive record when:

  • A lead sends a message
  • SalesPartner replies to a lead
  • An appointment is booked or a reminder is sent
  • A contact's status changes

Each note is timestamped and includes the relevant details.

Note: The contact must exist in Pipedrive as a person, matched by email address. If SalesPartner can't find a matching person, the note won't log. Make sure leads are added to Pipedrive before conversations start.

Troubleshooting

Notes not showing up in Pipedrive?

  1. Integration enabled? — Go to Settings → Integrations and confirm the toggle is on.
  1. Token valid? — Run the connection test again. If you recently changed your Pipedrive password, your token may have changed.
  1. Person exists in Pipedrive? — SalesPartner matches contacts by email. If the lead's email doesn't match a Pipedrive person, nothing logs.
  1. API access enabled? — Check with your Pipedrive admin that your user has API access in their permission set.
